|
| Motto:
Buaidh no bas
which means "to conquer or die".
Badge: An arm in armour holding a cross. Tartan: One of the four versions of the MacDougall tartan, which has a red background with multiple stripes. The variety seems to be due to confusion by manufacturers in the 19th century as to the exact pattern. There are a great many septs of this clan.
